Since kindergarten, David’s parents enrolled him in Music course up through high school. David Zhang pursued his university education in Conservatory of Music Pelita Harapan University majoring in Piano Jazz & Pop Performance Then David Zhang continued his education at Trisakti University, majoring in Master of Management.

David Zhang had started his teaching career since 15 years old in some famous music school such as Yamaha & Kawai music school. With more than a decade of teaching experience, he currently teaches privately. As he continues to teach privately, he has been continuously developing Latreia Music School, and also Latreia Music Production & Latreia Entertainment together with his team for the past few years.

David Zhang had worked together (as Pianist & Orchestra's Arranger) with famous Indonesian artists such as Once Mekel, Lilo KlaProject, Brisia Jodie (Indonesian Idol), Trie Utami, Clarisa Dewi (runner up X Factor Indonesia), Eka Deli and Bertha among others.
